French produced UPVC windows & Doors can be very expensive and quite often made in “off the shelf” sizes with very poor insulation qualities. Neither are they made to the same standard as they are in the UK & other parts of Europe, “A” rated windows have zero heat loss!
Our UPVC units are manufactured only to “A” specification, fully steel reinforced frames, multipoint locking systems, Solar reflective Low e glass, toughened safety glass in doors.
Most windows in the UK open outwards, unlike here in France which generally open inwards to accommodate shutters. We have adapted our manufacturing process specifically for the French market!
If the window is a double opening window there is no fixed centre post as in the UK. (known as a floating mullion). You can have the windows tilt & turn, so they tilt and lock for ventilation or just straight opening windows or both.
We can manufacture the windows in just about any colour you want, however our Light Oak finish frames match just about perfectly with traditional French windows made of wood!
We have adapted our manufacturing process not just for windows but for doors, Patio doors, Bi fold doors and conservatories.
All our glazing units are 28mm units (4-20-4) which is not the same as French units which are generally 24mm (4-16-4), this would not qualify for “A” rating in the UK.
